I have been following the story of a sweet little baby girl named Magdalena on Blogger. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 while still in the womb. Trisomy 18 is deemed as "incompatable with life." Magdalena beat the odds and lived for over 5 months. Sadly she passed away earlier this week. In memory of Magdalena we were asked to wear pink today, since today in MS is her memorial service. I have some pictures that we took of Elise and I in our pink and of a poster we made in honor of a wonderful little girl. Knowing this little girl's story has helped me be a better and more patient mommy and has taught me to be ever thankful to God for my two healthy, fantastic children. Please keep Magdalena's mommy and daddy in your prayers while they rememember their daughter and mourn her loss; until they meet again in Heaven. God is great and faithful.
Here is the link to Magdalena's page if you want to read her story or leave your condolences-

And here are the pictures I told you about.
The poster we made. Dustin drew the heart and footprints. I wrote the words, and Elise helped mommy color the heart.
Patrick sat up on his own for a looonnnngggg period of time yesterday. That was the first time too. :-)
Patrick has two teeth and is getting two more.
He does not crawl yet, but he tries to.
Elise has a severe peanut allergy (as most of you already knew), and also was found to be allergic to a lot more common foods too. :-(
Elise is doing well learning her numbers and colors.
Dustin is thinking seriously about joining the Army. I am going to support him in whatever he decides. For you Army Wives out there- what are your thoughts on this?
Enjoy the pictures! And FYI- Dustin shaved off his mohawk after these pics were taken lol!
